Capitalism and Communism

Communism is more of a thing that's more about the community and they only work for the community and they only produce the supplies that they need rather than make as much as possible for profit, this is all run by the state and the state decides what is needed and what to make and everyone must work for the state.

Capitalism is more of where people can go off and work on their own and do what they would like with their company and use this to make profit and make as many supplies as they like and sell them off for profit, capitalism is where people can go make their own businesses and have their own land rather then everything being owned and run by the state.

The difference between communism and capitalism is that in capitalism you can work on your own and they make what they want and produce in mass amounts so they can profit off of it while with communism they only produce what they need and the land and companies are owned by their community and run by them and they only make and get what they need rather than create a lot for profit.

IT Heroes - a Micro bit

Today in IT heroes, Sam and I continued in making our soccer field micro bit activity. While sam started with making the template for the other goal I coded the micro-bits and we started thinking about how we are going to do the circuits  and how we are going to make it so that the ball will have a big enough impact to hit the net(piece of cardboard) which will hit the back of the goal and trigger the scoreboard to change. To complete our soccer field we will just need to complete the circuit part of it and figure out where to put the crocodile clips. We will need to get a buzzer and some tin foil and once we have those we will be able to complete the activity and have a fully functional micro-bit soccer field.

Micro Bit Challenge - Coding

This is my code for my micro bit point system for my micro bit football activity,
The purpose of the Forever block is for the code to go on forever, it is the forever loop so the code will repeat itself everytime its triggered so in this case, the  game can go to whatever score you desire, the forever block is great for when you want the code to repeat itself or for it to work forever.

One skill I think I have learned was how to work a buzzer, for Sams and I's football field we needed the buzzer to work whenever a point is scored so I figured out how to set up the wires properly so the goals will work, now I just need to figure out how to arrange the wires so they still work properly and will not get in the way of the game.

Name one specific thing about your learning at campion college that really engages you. 

I like working with my friends. Why? I like working with my friends in class and if working in groups I like working with friends or people I at least know or talk to because if I'm put with someone I don't know I don't work very well or talk very much. 

How do you prefer to learn something new? 

Through the teacher teaching us up front, like them explaining it to the class with information (like slides or images or videos about the subject) 

If you could change anything about how the school is organized to support your learning what would it be? 

Actually being more organized with everything because there have been so many things that have not been organized. 

Why would you change it? 

So that the learning and activities and everything will be organized beforehand and be ready for us. 

How would you change it? 

Make people become organized but I'm just a student I can't change anything… 

How important to you is it to know why you are learning something? 

Not very important… 

How important to you is it to know how you are assessed? 

Very I guess? I like to know how I have done. 

What is the best environment for you to learn in? 

A classroom that's not like completely quiet because it's hard to concentrate when it's like dead quiet
